Boko Haram strikes again:ambush and kills 5 soldiers

Although the present administration has been successfully fighting Boko Haram.
Unfortunately, they are still wrecking havoc.Some suspected members were said to have killed five soldiers and injured 19 others, in an ambush they laid in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.

The disclosure of the ambush was made in a statement by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman. 

This happened as troops of 'Operation Lafiya Dole' intercepted two men at different locations, suspected to be suppliers of drugs and other logistics items to insurgents.
Meanwhile, the 19 soldiers that sustained varying degrees of injuries in the ambush are receiving medical attention.

New Telegraph has confirmed that five soldiers, three vigilantes and one Civilian JTF lost their lives during the ambush, while 19 soldiers and one Civilian JTF sustained various degrees of injuries.  

“The bodies of the late soldiers and civilians have been evacuated to Maiduguri while the injured are receiving commensurate medical care and are in stable condition,” Usman said.
