Teen plays dead as she is kniffed 100times by violent lover

A teenager just had a chance to live again after she played dead to prevent her boyfriend from killing her.

The 19year old girl had refused to give the attacker Savage Jamiy Usman a glass of water prompting his actions. He got angrier when she refused to demand for a drink  and stabbed her 100times in front of her terrified son.

After playing dead, Usman felt she had died then she used the opportunity dragged herself to the street and the clambered onto a bus where the driver raced to the depot and called police.

Detective Inspector Andy Wolstenholme of Sussex Police said: "This was an horrific unprovoked attack on the victim who had to fight for her life in front of her child who was just two.

It is a miracle she survived. He also praised the bus driver for using his initiative and acting fast to help her. She is slowly recovering and is helping with investigations. She has also being referred to as an inspiration for her courage.

The woman, now 21, suffered two punctured lungs and had 500 stitches to treat her wounds.

Unemployed Usman, of Brighton, denied the charge but was found guilty following a trial at Lewes Crown Court on July 20 and the 32-year-old was jailed for 20 years on Friday.
