Nigeria's Dream Team Scale through to Quarter Finals

The Nigerian Dream Team and U-23 team has qualified for the quarter finals of the Olympic games football. They beat Sweden 1-0 clinch a spot at the quarterfinals.

Nigeria's team had great input from Umar Sadiq and Mikel Obi and Ogenekharo who scored 4 goals in the march against Japan. Sweden's goal keeper Andreas denied the team severally from scoring more goals. Fortunately at the 39th minute Sadiq finally scored a goal for Nigeria and Sweden's goalkeeper Andreas could not hold that on.

The game proved difficult as both sides missed many chances at scoring.

With the win, Nigeria topped Group B with 6points, with Colombia second and one match still remaining to play, Sweden third with a point annd Japan at the bottom with no point at all in the game.
