Donald Trump has had the upper hand in the polls for sometime but a recent survey has put Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton 10 points ahead of Donald Trump.

According to the latest Fox News poll the lead is in three key states.
With the conventions over and the vice presidential picks on the tickets, Clinton now receives 49 percent support among registered voters to Trump's 39 percent, according to Fox News' polling, which has a margin of error of 3 points.

Dailymail reports that 61 percent of those polled believe Clinton is a liar, but they also view the former secretary of state as being qualified and having the temperament and knowledge to serve as president, qualities that are giving her an edge over the Republican foe.

And when it comes to lying, Trump's numbers are slightly worse – with 62 percent of voters pegging him that way.

When Libertarians Gary Johnson. the ex-New Mexico governor, and his running mate, former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld, are added in they receive 12 percent support, siphoning off voters about equally from Trump and Clinton.

Clinton, however, still end up on top, with 44 percent support to Trump's 35 percent.
This is a reversal from mid-May, when Trump had scooted ahead of the Democrat. Then, the Fox News poll showed Trump receiving 45 percent support to Clinton's 42 percent.
However by early June she had retaken a very slim lead with 42 percent support to Trump's 39 percent.
By late June, Clinton was up by six points, receiving 44 percent to Trump's 38 percent.
This latest poll, however, shows her most commanding lead.
It's the first survey to account for Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine being on the Democratic ticket and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence's addition to the Republican.
