Buhari praises the Olympic team as they beat Denmark to qualify for semi-finals

Nigeria beat Denmark 2-0 on Saturday  to qualify for the Rio Olympics semifinals.

Nigerians have been celebrating this important feat. President Muhammadu Buhari praised the dream team for their victory. He commended their commitment and unity. They showed that there is always a way no matter the challenges faced as they went through a lot getting to Rio and so far they have made remarkable impresions in their outings in Rio.

Guardian gathered through the President's  Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina that  he urged the dream team to go for Gold so the Nigerian banner will be proudly lifted up on the global stage.

He went further stating that Nigerians should ensure they pray for the dream team inspite of the economic downfall.

The dream team performed so well in their match agains Denmark where Mikel  Obi scored his first Olympic goal and Aminu Umar scored the second goal from a corner kick.
