Mo Farrah becomes first Great Britain's athlete to win 3 Gold as he recovers from fall to win 10,000m race

Mo Farrah the 10,000m defending champion had a mind blowing experience as he was defending his title during the men's 10,000m race in Rio.

The Britain athlete who was defending his gold at the London 2012 Olympics, had a fall over in the 10,000m race.

According to Mirror,after falling he felt he had lost his Olympic dream of winning the race. But as the champion he his, he got back on his feet continued running and eventually winning the race.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live after the event, he said "At one moment I thought my dream was over, my race was over. I tried to be tough, and that is what I did."

The 33 year old had just fifteen laps to go and managed to finished the race strong,stronger than others to clinch another gold for himself.

 He stressed the fact that when he fell, he thought in his mind that he didn't want to let his stepdaughter Rihanna down.And was happy the fall came early so he was able to get himself back up and recover quickly.

His next race is the 5,000m where he will be defending another title.
