241 Nigerians repatriated from Libya

About 241 Nigerians were recently repatriated to Nigeria from Libya.

Punch gathered that they returned back to Nigeria through the Murtala International Airport at 3.45pm where they were received by NEMA (National Emergency Management Agency). 

They were given food and assisted with transport money.Some were even taken to teaching hospital for treatment. The spokesperson for NEMA South West Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed the news. He stated that the International Organization for Migration facilitated thee repatriation of the returnees which included 174males and 67 females between the ages of 18years and four under 4years.

According to officials the returnees are Nigerians that were stranded in Libya on their way abroad for greener pastures.
